Within the first night of receiving this book, our daughter had read through it several times and it was, of course, the top choice for our nite-nite reading that day. We have not found any Peppa Pig books in the U.S, but since all the characters in the animated cartoon are English, it may be that they did not distribute here. I ordered a used book in excellent condition that appeared to come from a U.S. store, but the book still shipped from England. Even though the shipping took a toll on the condiition of the book (bent due to flimsy packaging), the pages and book itself was in excellent condition. An unexpected surprise was a envelope and pre-written letter to the tooth-fairy enclosed in a pouch at the back of the book. An even better surprise was the that previous owner had signed the letter "Love, Pippen" in tidy, recently learned print. We imagined some small boy in England who had received the book, reading through it with his mummy or daddy, and now having it travel across the ocean to us for our daughter to enjoy. My daughter loves opening the small letter to the Tooth Fairy every time we read the book.
